And Justice for some...

On Thursday, India acquitted 2 people (while serving a minor sentence to the third) in the Parliament attack case. They had advance knowledge of the terrorist attack, but kept quiet about it. They were found not guilty despite withholding such critical information. Information that could have saved many lives.

On Friday, Britain held 3 people guilty for the 7/7 London bombings. Their crime: they had advance knowledge about the bombings, but they kept quiet about it. They were found guilty BECAUSE they withheld such critical information. Yes, information that could have saved many lives.

Who's right?

PS: And if you were to hear one of the accused-and-acquitted's lawyers - which i did on TV - you will hear from this pseudo-lady what a pious and innocent man her client is! Shame is all I feel...

Most Amazing Movie!

No posts last week - was out on some training.

Yesterday, I saw the most amazing movie ever! Shot in Black & White, the print was not too good either - lots of grainy stuff, couldn't even make out whether it was an actor or an actress. No audio as well. Really had to strain myself to make out what was happening. Script was not too well written. There was just one actor/actress doing some rather complex motions. At one point, i even got the idea that maybe the actor was a bit too shy to be on camera, with all the attempts to cover his/her face from the audience. Technically bad. But emotionally very rich. For, as the actor flashed the thumbs up sign signalling the end of the movie, this reviewer could only smile and do his own thumbs up at the performance. For, not withstanding all these, it was without any doubt the best-est movie I ever watched - or hope to watch. Yesterday, I saw the ultrasound scan of my baby. :-)
